Hello!
Some of you may remember about this time last year receiving an email about my plans to put on walking boots and take to the hills (well, the Sussex Downs actually) all in a very good cause!
Margaret and I had such a good time that we have decided to do it again. We shall be raising funds for Cancer of Unknown Primary Foundation - Jo's friends. This is the charity set up in memory of my sister, Jo, who died in 2006. You can find out more about the charity and the work we do by following the link to the website www.cupfoundjo.org
Last year Margaret and I raised over £800 which was fantastic - and we would like to thank everyone who supported us and hope that you will help us raise even more on the 7th May this year.
You can find out more about the walk on the web page of the organisers, Across the Divide http://acrossthedivide.com/index.php/products/event/p-00251.html
For anyone interested in joining our small and select team on the walk you can join up through our team page www.justgiving.com/teams/CUP
If you know of anyone else who might be prepared to sponsor me or who would appreciate more information about CUP then please do send this page on to them.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Your support will be a great encouragement to us as we set off on our 10 km walk. More importantly it will provide the charity with funding to continue to develop this much needed work and to support families affected by CUP.
Thank you!
Philippa
