As events co-ordinator for Jo's friends, I am putting words and plans into action. With a spring in my step I shall be dusting down my walking boots, taking on board supplies of chocolate, and making plans to take part in 'Just Walk' on 15 May.
I have been spurred into action by Margaret who has moved to Sussex and gathered together some 'old' Exeter University friends to walk 10 km across the Sussex Downs and raise funds for Cancer of Unknown Primary Foundation - Jo's friends. As some of you will know, this is the charity set up in memory of my sister, Jo, who died in 2006. There is more information about the charity at the website www.cupfoundjo.org

Jo and I used to love walking on the Downs at this time of year- both in Sussex and Dorset. She would lead the way and I would meander along taking in the views and the wild life.
There will be no dawdling on 15 May as we set out to raise lots of funds and awareness for CUP. Please do support me on the walk by making a donation through this page.
